Peptobiotics is currently looking for contract manufacturers for several of our products, including both feed-grade and food-grade products.
The feed-grade product has already undergone pilot-scale testing, and we are now looking to scale up to a production capacity of 30 to 100 tons. For the food-grade product, we are currently seeking partners for pilot-scale trials and long-term production cooperation.

All strains used are non-methanol-utilizing Pichia pastoris, with fed-batch glycerol feeding strategies. The product is secreted extracellularly, and the fermentation cycle is expected to last around 90 hours.
For the feed-grade product, after fermentation, the process includes:
• Disc-stack centrifugation
• Ceramic membrane microfiltration
• Ultrafiltration (3 kDa)
• Final spray drying with carrier to obtain the powdered product
For the food-grade product, after fermentation, the process includes:
• Disc-stack centrifugation (or plate-frame filtration)
• Ultrafiltration
• Ion exchange
• Endotoxin removal
• Sterile filtration
• Spray drying to obtain the powdered product
